Free Geek Tech Now Collection Event

Washington Square in partnering with Free Geek to host a technology collection event in April in honor of Earth Month. Join us on Friday and Saturday, April 25 and 26, 12- 4 PM each day, and drop off your used or unneeded tech. Collection locations include drive up near 85C Bakery and inside the mall at Center Court. 

Free Geek will accept nearly everything that plugs in or uses technology, including computers, smartphones, tablets, printers, TVs, audio/visual systems, related accessories, and more. 

For over two decades, Free Geek has provided e-waste recycling services by taking over 1 million pounds of technology every year to ethically recycle and sustainability reuse. Over the last six years, Free Geek has worked with a network of digital equity practitioners and other partners to identify the communities most impacted by digital inequality. Free Geek is partnering with Washington Square to collect reusable technology diverting e-waste from landfills and giving them new life to be put in the hands of community members that need it the most.
