The Sharing Tree
Join Washington Square for the Sharing Tree, November 23 through December 24.
For over 40 years, Washington Square has hosted the Sharing Tree. Thousands of gifts are collected each holiday season benefiting eight local non-profit agencies including Albertina Kerr, Clackamas County SS/DD, Community Action- Healthy Families, Imagine Possibilities, Janus Youth Programs, Lifeworks Northwest, The Arc Portland Metro and With Love.
Beginning November 23, guests may pick an ornament from the tree and purchase the item listed on the tag. Unwrapped gifts should be returned to The Sharing Tree by December 24 to ensure delivery in time for Christmas.
Special thanks to Clipped Wings, a non-profit organization of retired flight attendants, who play Santa's elves by coordinating the Sharing Tree.
